Media Blogs Fill Niche in 24/7 News Environment

The reporters at Florida's major papers have blogs that focus on Florida political issues. There are four that have multiple reporters posting and post multiple stories every day: St. Petersburg Times: The Buzz Orlando Sentinel: Central Florida Pulse Palm Beach Post: Q - The Florida Politics Blog Miami Herald: Naked Politics The Tampa Tribune's Political Safari does not serve the same purpose, yet - but it could if William March and the Tallahassee bureau would post there; right now Laura Fiorilli does a good job. The Herald Tribune has Political Insider, but the posts are infrequent and the feed has problems. A brief scan of the other Florida newspapers' websites do not find any reporters blogs on most, and those where reporters blog do not cover politics. So make sure you have these four on your list!!
