Senate Still Up In The Air

Control of the United States Senate has not been decided as of "press time." Republicans have lost four seats: Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. Republicans held Tennessee. Democrats held New Jersey and Maryland. The Montana race has not been called yet, but the Democrat (Tester) looks to be taking that seat as well. That would give the Democrats 50 seats, with Virigina still left to be decided. The Virginia senate race has not been completed. More votes will be counted tomorrow. The Democrat (Webb) leads by 11,528 votes. Out of more than 2.3 million votes cast. Very close. That puts the Senate at 50-50 or possibly a 51-49 Democratic majority. More on this tomorrow.
